Common Questions

Straight answers about pond care, scheduling, pricing, and what we do.

That depends on your plan. Essential is monthly, Signature is bi-weekly, and Premium is weekly. We help you pick the right rhythm based on your pond size, whether you have fish, and how hands-off you want to be.

Yes. Most of the ponds we maintain were built by someone else. We take over care, get the ecosystem balanced, and keep it that way.

Green water is usually a symptom of something out of balance, not the real problem. We test the water, fix what is throwing it off, and set up the filtration and treatment so it stops coming back instead of masking it every month.

Your koi and goldfish are hardier than most people expect. As the water cools, they slow down, settle near the bottom where the temperature stays most stable, and essentially hibernate for the winter. Our job is to keep that environment safe: we winterize the pond with netting, cutbacks, and the right shutdown for your setup, and we keep it properly oxygenated with an opening in the ice so gases can escape. Under normal conditions your fish come through the cold just fine, and we give the pond a clean restart in spring.

Yes. We do standalone deep cleanouts, spring openings, and fall winterizing, whether or not you are on a recurring plan.

Reach out with a few details about your pond and we will put together a quote. Use the contact form, or call or text us directly. Whatever is easiest for you.

Yes. Along with backyard ponds, we care for larger water features and commercial properties. Tell us what you have and we will put together a plan that fits.

There is no flat rate, because no two ponds are the same. Cost depends on your pond's size, whether you have fish, its current condition, and how often you want us out. Send us a few details and we will put together a clear quote with no surprises.

Yes. We care for koi ponds, waterfalls, streams, and natural ponds, small backyard features and large estate and commercial water features alike.

The sweet spot is once the water holds around 50 degrees, before algae takes off for the season. We handle the full opening: restarting pumps, cleaning filters, and checking for any winter damage.

Before the first hard frost. A proper shutdown, with netting, cutbacks, and the right setup for your pond, protects your fish and keeps your plumbing from cracking over winter.

Green water is almost always fed by extra nutrients and sunlight, not a dirty pond. Store-bought treatments tend to rebound once they wear off. We find the real cause, usually filtration, fish load, sunlight, or debris, and fix it at the source so it stays clear.

Ponds are our flagship and what we do today. Pool Solutions, Aquarium Maintenance, and Leaf Removal are on the way as we grow into full outdoor property care. Ask us to get on the early list for those.

We reply within one business day. Need us sooner? Call or text us and we will do our best to help right away.

No. As long as we have safe access to the pond, you do not need to be there. We leave a simple note after each visit so you always know what was done.
